​About Mrs. DeCourval
​My name is Lindsey DeCourval. and it is an absolute pleasure of mine to teach your child this year in Kindergarten. I graduated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education. I received my masters degree in K-12 reading through Saginaw Valley State University. This is my 11th year teaching Kindergarten in the Troy School District.
​Growing up I enjoyed being active and playing as many sports as possible. I enjoy playing soccer, basketball and softball and love to attempt to snowboard during the winter time. I am a huge fan of all Detroit sports and love country music. My husband and I have spent most of our summers traveling to various countries around the world but started our BIGGEST adventure on May 14th, 2019.  We welcomed a BEAUTIFUL baby girl (Lucy) into our lives and are enjoying every moment of parenthood.  I look forward to working with all of you this year and am excited to watch your child grow throughout the school year.
